distance learning section

Mission: In an increasingly digital world, distance learning librarianship, e-learning, and instructional technology are becoming more prevalent as essential skills for many librarians. Online or distance learning librarianship allows us to connect our patrons to library resources, instruction, and assistance without the need for face-to-face interaction, expanding our impact and increasing the reach of our services. The Distance Learning Section gives librarians a chance to discuss issues and opportunities regarding distance learning librarianship, e-learning, and instructional technology.

Established April 2017
