Inform. Connect. Support.
Join the State Library of North Carolina’s Government and Heritage Library in honoring Hispanic Heritage in North Carolina. We invite you to explore North Carolina’s Latin American and Caribbean heritage through the diverse perspectives of people who have migrated to the state. In collaboration with the Institute for the Study of the Americas at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the “New Roots: Voices from Carolina del Norte” initiative, we will learn about our community through engaging oral histories, connecting our past with the present in a celebration of geography, culture, and heritage. Participants will also leave with a valuable lesson plan and resources to enhance their learning experience. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the stories that define our diverse community. This webinar will be live captioned and recorded. Register for this virtual program at: https://slnc.info/HHNC.
