Genealogy & Local History Committee Charge:

The Genealogy and Local History Committee as part of NCLA's Public Library Section welcomes colleagues throughout the state who work with or have an interest in genealogy and local history in public libraries. The purpose of the Committee is to share ideas and experiences that are common and/or unique and to support each other's institutions as we strive to build and maintain quality collections that provide the best service possible to our devoted customers. Opportunities for interaction will include programs, workshops and electronic exchanges.
